Abstract
This study aims to explore the impact of geopolitical defects on the establishment and construction of administrative regions in Libya, in an effort to build an effective state that fits its spatial framework and surroundings. By analyzing geopolitical problems and their impact on the formation of administrative regions, the study seeks to provide objective methods to overcome these challenges, within the framework of the geopolitical methodology, to help decision-makers develop administrative divisions that address these problems and take into account the geopolitical characteristics of the Libyan state. Libya is currently facing one of the most dangerous stages of its history, as it is threatened by the dangers of fragmentation as a unified state due to the strength of regional and regional influence, in addition to the various regional and international influences that greatly affect the entity of the state. This situation makes the reorganization and internal restructuring of the state complicated. Hence, this study seeks to shed light on these difficulties and problems and ways to address them, with the aim of preserving the stability of the internal political structure of the Libyan state.
