Abstract
One of the grammatical methods that play a major role in the coherence and harmony of the text is repetition. The link between linguistic structures and their various elements in the Arabic language is achieved through several things, including conjunction, deletion, repetition, and others. Repetition is one of the rhetorical methods that contribute to the text. It is a powerful tool for enhancing meanings and highlighting ideas. It contributes to clarifying speech, and makes it more impactful and influential in the mind of the listener. The importance of this topic lies in: standing on the role of repetition in clarifying and enriching different meanings through an applied study on poetic texts. This study aims to know what this method includes of specific characteristics that reveal its system and affect meanings, and to reveal the role of repetition in performing the intended meanings in Qanaba's poetry and linking its connotations to his psychological state.
