The Impact of Organizational Structure on Employees' Job Performance A Field Study in the General Administration of Al- jumhuriya Bank

Abstract
This study investigated the influence of organizational structure on job performance among employees in the General Administration of the Republic Bank's Head Office. The study's primary objective was to conduct a thorough analysis of both the existing organizational structure and the current state of job performance within the bank. The central research question was: What is the impact of the existing organizational structure on employee job performance at the Republic Bank's Head Office? The research was founded on a primary hypothesis postulating a statistically significant correlation between the existing organizational structure and employee job performance within the General Administration of the Republic Bank's Head Office. The study population comprised 230 employees in the General Administration, from which a proportional stratified random sample was drawn to ensure adequate representation of the study population. The methodology incorporated both descriptive and analytical approaches, utilizing SPSS statistical software for data collection and analysis to evaluate the correlation between organizational structure and job performance. The findings revealed that the existing organizational structure was compatible with the job performance requirements of the bank under study. Furthermore, the results demonstrated a statistically significant correlation between organizational structure and employee job performance in the bank's General Administration. In terms of recommendations, the study emphasized that Republic Bank's Head Office management should focus on enhancing the organizational structure to better align with job performance requirements. Additionally, it highlighted the critical importance of recruiting and appointing highly qualified personnel to ensure compatibility with the organizational structure requirements of the bank under study.
