Abstract
The current study aimed to identify the requirements for implementing administrative accountability in public schools in the municipality of Qamins The study employed a descriptive survey method and used a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The study population included all public school principals in the Qamins area, totaling 24 directors. The data was entered and statistically analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) to calculate the means for the responses to each paragraph of the research tool. Additionally, Cronbach's alpha equation was used to calculate the reliability coefficient to measure the correlation between the questionnaire items, and standard deviations were calculated to measure the extent of deviation from the mean. The study found that the most important requirements for implementing administrative accountability in public schools in the municipality of Qamins, from the perspective of their directors, were transparency requirements, followed by the conditions of the accountability team, and then the tools and methods of administrative accountability. There were differences in opinions among the respondents regarding the transparency requirements, accountability tools, and conditions of the accountability team in public schools in the municipality of Qamins based on educational stage and academic qualification. Furthermore, there were differences in opinions among the respondents regarding the transparency requirements of administrative accountability in public schools in the municipality of Qamins based on the experience variable.
