Main Article Content
Abstract
Abstract The study aimed to explore family education in light of contemporary challenges by examining how families can balance the use of modern technology while maintaining emotional and social interaction among their members amid the widespread use of electronic devices. It also sought to identify effective strategies that families can adopt to enhance moral and cultural values in an era of global openness and multiple sources of influence on children. Additionally, the study examined how families can support their children's mental health in the face of contemporary pressures such as academic, social, and economic challenges. Finally, it explored the new roles that families must adopt in raising children to help them face future challenges, such as rapid changes in the job market and required skills. The study followed a descriptive methodology, as it was suitable for its objectives. The study reached the following conclusions: -Families can achieve a balance between technology use and social interaction by setting specific times for using electronic devices, encouraging shared activities, and maintaining direct communication with children. -Enhancing moral and cultural values in the face of global openness requires continuous dialogue, guiding children to positive sources, setting a good example, and engaging in community activities. -Supporting children's mental health requires providing a safe environment, active listening, teaching stress management skills, and strengthening emotional support to help them cope with challenges. -Families must foster critical thinking skills, enhance adaptability to changes, teach digital skills, instill the value of lifelong learning, and build children's selfconfidence and independence.
