Sustainable environmental design techniques are tools to maintain the thermal equilibrium with renewable energies
Main Article Content
Abstract
The application of the Sustainable environmental design concept can be taken into account as one of the important elements in the hot architecture regions, this is because it can achieve thermal comfort for the building users by protecting the building from the climate changes. The aim of this study to clarify the role of Sustainable environmental design to achieve thermal balance with Using clean renewable energies without harming the environment, thus preserving the rights of the future generation, and also aims to reduce the total dependence on the mechanical processes of cooling and heating of the air which are used recently wide by many architects. and as a result of choosing and using the methods and materials that are not suitable for the prevailing local climate of the region, that cause increasing the load on electric power plants. The study relied on two approaches, the first is the descriptive approach studies the concepts of Sustainable environmental design, including its most important goals and the problems that will be faced, and then studying the Sustainable environmental design techniques, whether it is used at the urban level in general or used at the level of building design, which must be taken into account when carrying out the design process. The second approach is the analytical approach, which is involved in the analysis of building design models with Sustainable environmental design techniques. A number of results and suggestions have been reached from this study.
