The study applied on a random sample of 150 male and female pupils of Barhoum's new high school in state of Msila, was reached through the use of critical thinking scale, and the scale of problem-solving, and using statistical methods of: frequencies, percentages, Pearson correlation coefficient, T test differences. To the following: - No correlation between the methods of thinking (critical thinking) and the ability to solve problems among high school students. - There are no gender differences in the ability to think critically in favor of male students at the high school students
