Quranic Basmala...a fundamentalist study

Abstract

The scholars unanimously agreed that it was not a verse from Surat al-Naml regarding the Basmala. They also agreed that it is not a verse from Surah al-Bara’ah unanimously, and they agreed on its writing between every two surahs except between al-Anfal and al-Bara’ah. It is left without frequent narration, so the search focused on the area of disagreement in this matter among the scholars. Is it a verse from the beginning of each surah, or from Al-Fatihah only, or a separate verse to separate the surahs only, or is it not a verse at all, and this is what the focus of the research is.
