Old Sea Ports on the Coasts of Arab Countries Prior to Islam

Abstract
The allocation of Arab countries on three open water bodies with large coasts, which are: the Indian Ocean, Qalzam Sea/ Red Sea and Arabic Gulf, was with an important role in establishing several ports on the coasts of these water bodies which initially emerged in its initial form and; then, started to develop and expand following the marine activity, the region has witnessed due to the development of commercial activity among the countries of the old world. These ports have become large with huge ships anchor there. These ports have participated in activating the movement of commercial exchange between the countries of the old world in that period, whilst the region of Arab countries have become a region of transit merchants in which the goods of old world from all countries might meet, due to which the economy has boomed and become diverse.
