Abstract

The study took samples from desalinated water stores and conducted some chemical analyzes on them to determine their compliance with World Health Organization specifications. The study concluded that all the results of the natural and chemical properties do not conform to the specifications as a result of the presence of elements with low percentages and other elements with high levels. It was found that the percentage of iron and manganese in high percentages was found. It is greater than the maximum permissible concentration, and its increase causes a lot of damage. Also, the percentage of salinity in one sample was greater than the permissible level, and if the percentage of salinity in the water increases, it causes harm to the health of individuals, and it is equal in one sample and in two samples, it is higher than the permissible level, and also the percentage of conductivity is high. Electrophoresis due to the high percentage of salts, and as for the low concentration elements, they are calcium and sodium, unless one sample conforms to the permissible level, and potassium was very low, and magnesium, as well as nitrates, and it was also found that the results for calcium were very low, by a large percentage of the permissible levels, and this may It causes harm to the health of individuals, and from the results of the samples it was found that the percentages of iron and manganese were very high above the permissible limits, except for one sample in which the iron element was equal to the permissible limits, and as for the manganese element, it was very high in all samples.
