Psychological Stress Among Faculty Members at the Faculty of Arts – Misurata University

Abstract

This research aims to know the psychological pressures among the faculty members at the Faculty of Arts, Misurata University, on a sample consisting of (74) faculty members, including (42) males and (32) females, who were randomly selected from the original community, which consisted of (168) university professors at the Faculty of Arts, Misurata University. The descriptive analytical method was used, as it is appropriate for the research topic. The researcher used the psychological pressure scale prepared by Wael Al-Sayed (2018). The research results revealed no statistically significant differences in the level of psychological stress among university professors, no statistically significant differences between males and females on any of the scale's dimensions, and no statistically significant differences based on the experience variable on the scale's dimensions.
