Abstract

This research addresses a wide research gap that most researchers on the subject of illegal immigration suffer from, and this gap is represented in two main axes: The first axis: Lack of interest in studying the effects and repercussions that illegal immigration has on transit countries, especially those countries whose residents do not practice immigration on a large scale, and Libya is at the forefront of these countries. The large increase in the number of immigrants has also led to a decline in the level of public services as a result of increasing pressure on vital facilitiesThe second axis: Neglecting the study of women’s migration, even though it has become a growing phenomenon that casts a shadow over many countries, especially transit countries. Explaining its reality, while presenting a set of scientific theories explaining it. At the conclusion of the research, the study concluded with a comprehensive conclusion and practical recommendations, in addition to an index of approved sources and references.
