Armed conflict in Sudan and its impact on Libya

Abstract
The armed conflict in Sudan, which began in April 2023 between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces, is a starting point for new challenges in the region, which sparked many repercussions in various political, economic, environmental, humanitarian, and psychological fields, in addition to its repercussions on regional cooperation, With the escalation of violence in Sudan, thousands of refugees flowed to Libya, and while Libya was already struggling in light of the chaos resulting from this unorganized flow an additional burden on it, it was difficult for the Libyan authorities to provide the necessary advertising and services. On the other hand, the regional forces that have interests in Libya have taken advantage of the current situation to enhance their influence, which increases the complexity of the political situation and leads to more internal divisions, and leaves a clear impact on regional cooperation with the countries of the region.
