Desert tourism in Ubari region: attractions and investment obstacles
Main Article Content
Abstract
It may not be an exaggeration to say that Libya is one of the most important tourist attractions in the world due to its human and natural resources that are capable of competing with global tourism. Since tourism components are the basis on which tourism is based, there is no alternative to providing all the capabilities that support tourism activity and creating the conditions that guarantee the optimal reception of groups of tourists coming from different parts of the world during the annual tourist seasons. Thus, the basic problem can be summarized in tampering with these tourist attractions (antiquities of various types) in contrast to the lack of interest on the part of officials in this problem. As long as this heritage has been neglected, it is necessary to draw attention to some of the problems it suffers from, so that someone may listen to them. It goes without saying that the importance of this study is to identify the spatial characteristics of the natural and human components in the study area.
