Abstract

This research aims at a general study of the state, whether in terms of origin and content and the accompanying theories and philosophical opinions, and a general study of the content of the political power and the foundations on which it is based, explaining the vision presented by Ibn Khaldun on the state, in terms of upbringing and content, as well as clarifying the stages that the state is going through And the foundations on which to highlight the inferences presented by Ibn Khaldun in this regard, where the researcher used the analytical approach for the purpose of analyzing the texts and ideas related to the topic of research, and in conclusion the research showed that Ibn Khaldun's opinions on politics, sociology, urbanism and history are only a process of interrogation of two experiences, the first It is his personal experience through his tasks and positions in the court of rulers, and the second is the experience of the era in which he lived, in addition to his wide knowledge of what was included in the books of Islamic political history.
