Narrative of time and place in George Orwell's novel In the Air George Orwell's novel In the Air deals with the issue of war and politics and their consequences on human life, as this novel focuses on the character of a simple worker who lives a stressful life related to the memories left by the First World War, followed by the fear of a second war. The writer talks about memories before the war and remembers his city where he lived in peace until the war came, which caused a change in his soul and human composition. The writer formulated his novel in the form of events and details in a wonderful narrative form, describing it in the form of successive diaries in which he revealed the image of man as he should be, until the war came with all its events and reflections to create this anxiety and warning of the consequences of a second war followed by fears of the horrors of war, raising questions about war and politics and their relationship with the human soul.
