Semantic diversity of the word (ummah) in the Qur’an

Abstract
In the Holy Quran, any word has great value and great importance; because it is the origin which the meaning revolves around, so you find that every word in the Quran is the most suitable for its place; and the word Ummah is with multiple meanings that become clear from the context of the speech and from the evidence, or through the situation in which it is said, which is called semantic diversity, and revealing this diversity through its verses that are organized in a miraculous context.
This study is distinguished by tracing the word (ummah) in the Holy Quran and explaining its multiple meanings. This paper is to shed light on the semantic diversity of the word (ummah), taking the Holy text of Quran as a model for application. The paper was divided into an introduction and five chapters. The first chapter: Ummah means group, the second chapter: Ummah means followers of the prophets, the third chapter: Ummah means the man who he with goodness, the fourth chapter: Ummah means religion and faith, and the fifth chapter: Ummah means time and age, appended with the most important results reached by the researcher.
