Legal Protection of Digital Works

Abstract

After the author's intellectual property rights of all kinds were linked to the traditional aspect only, the revolution of information and communication technology cast its shadow, pushing towards adopting the protection of the author's intellectual property for digital works so that they do not remain vulnerable to attack. Therefore, the study focuses on the aspects that are protected for the author for these works in the digital environment, as these works include several divisions, including computers, databases, and topography of integrated circuits. It also addressed the rights protected by copyright in the digital environment, as well as forms of copyright attack, and procedural protection mechanisms for the author in the digital environment.
