Abstract

This study aims to identify the relationship between psychological resilience and future anxiety as well as to evaluate the level of future anxiety and psychological resilience of a sample of 99 male and female nurses working in health centers in the city of Tobruk, Libya. Imad Mohamed Makhamir's (2002) Psychological resilience Scale and Zainab Shaqir's (2005) Future Anxiety Scale were used in the research. The findings revealed that no statistically significant relationship between psychological resilience and future anxiety, however, the study's most significant findings indicate that the sample has a high level of psychological resilience and a low level of anxiety.
