The Role of Mind Mapping Strategy in Enhancing Learners' Understanding and Organizing Knowledge
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research examines the role of mind mapping strategy in enhancing learners' understanding and organizing knowledge. This is achieved by employing visual representation of information to facilitate learning and deepen comprehension. The research relied on a descriptive-analytical approach, based on a review of the literature and previous studies that addressed the effectiveness of this strategy in various educational contexts. The research concluded that mind maps contribute to developing learners' abilities to organize information, understand relationships between concepts, and retrieve knowledge more efficiently. They also help develop organized thinking and stimulate active participation in learning. In light of these findings, the researcher recommends: integrating mind maps into classroom practices and curricula; training teachers and learners on the skills of designing and using mind maps; and preparing educational guides that support the effective use of this strategy in various disciplines.
