Abstract

This study aimed to identify the reasons that influence the granting of Islamic financing to students at Al-Yaqeen Islamic Bank over the provision of other Islamic financing formulas other than Murabaha, The study assumed that the reasons may be attributed to five basic reasons, which are: (laws and legislation, financial capacity, availability of qualified human competencies, the role of Sharia supervisory bodies, and competitiveness between commercial banks and Islamic banks). The study relied on a questionnaire to collect data, which was distributed to 20 individuals. To test the study hypotheses, a test was used (one Sample T- test) The results of the statistical analysis showed that the factor of legislation and laws, the factor of competencies and expertise, the factor of the weakness of the role of Sharia supervisory bodies, and the factor of competitiveness between commercial and Islamic banks It negatively affects the bank’s ability to provide Islamic financing in its various forms to students, while the financial capacity factor was not influential in this, The sample's answers tended to indicate that the bank has the financial ability to provide formulas Islamic financing other than the Murabaha formula.
