Abstract
This study examines “Preserving the Order of the Ummah (the Muslim Community) and Achieving Its Ghina (Prosperity) and Kifayah (Sufficiency) in the Maqāṣid (Objectives) of Sharīʿah According to Imām Muḥammad al-Ṭāhir ibn ʿĀshūr,” using a juristic and uṣūlī (fundamental) approach. It explores how Ibn ʿĀshūr broadens the scope of Farḍ Kifāyah (Communal Obligation) to meet the community’s needs by grounding them in the Objectives methodology. The research underlines the importance of viewing the Muslim Community as a collective entity, emphasizing its order, prosperity, sufficiency, and welfare. Through a comprehensive Objectives lens, this perspective positions the Muslim Community favorably among nations, granting it strength, honor, and respect.
