The Educational Games and Their Role in Enhancing the Educational Process ans Skills Development

Abstract
This research aims to study the concept of educational games and their impact on enhancing the educational process. It also seeks to identify the importance of educational games, the foundations upon which they are built, and the obstacles to their use. The researcher employed a descriptive methodology, which allows for interaction with and analysis of the study's ongoing processes. The research tools primarily consisted of books, references, and previous studies and research that addressed the topic. Through the findings, the researcher concluded that educational games contribute to the integrated development of children and help them adapt to real-life situations, which in turn enhances their thinking skills. The researcher recommends the necessity of providing adequate time and available resources for all children to engage in games both inside and outside schools, given their significant importance in helping them adapt to reality, stimulating their motivation, and improving their academic achievement. Furthermore, it is recommended to provide access to all types of educational games.
