There is no doubt that these books had a significant and important impact in preserving many of the roots of the Arabic language and its vocabulary from loss. The nature of the research, after collecting the material and completing the study, required it to be divided into an introduction, two chapters, and a conclusion. I followed the descriptive analytical approach, and concluded with a conclusion summarizing the most important findings of this study. The aim of the study: • This study aims to shed light on the linguistic value contained in the book (Al-Azmina wa al-Anwa). I studied Ibn al-Ajdabi's dictionary (Kifayat al-Mutahafiz) and found it to be of great linguistic value. I then studied this book (Al-Azmina wa al-Anwa) and found it to have great scientific, linguistic, and astronomical value. I therefore wanted to delve into the role of this jurist in his scholarly output. • The aim of the study is also to remind us of the geniuses of our ancestors and to gain a comprehensive understanding of our Libyan scientific and intellectual heritage
