Abstract

The study sought to determine the level of self-efficacy among a sample of graduate students and to identify the significance of differences in selfefficacy among graduate students according to gender, academic specialization, and age. The sample included (60) male and female graduate students from all academic disciplines at the Faculty of Arts at Omar AlMukhtar University. The self-efficacy scale, prepared by Sally Talib Alwan (2012), was used. The results indicated a high level of self-concept among graduate students. The results also revealed no statistically significant differences in selfefficacy among graduate students attributable to gender and academic specialization. However, statistically significant differences were found attributable to age, in favor of older students.
