The Issue of Inconsistent Timing of Fajr Adhan among Mosques and Its Impact on Worship and Community Cohesion

Abstract

This research addresses the issue of variation in the timing of the Fajr call to prayer among mosques. It explains the reasons behind this discrepancy, such as differences in calculation methods, visual observation, increased individual interpretations, and the absence of a unified authority. The study examines the impact of this variation on the validity of acts of worship and the unity of Muslims, emphasizing the need to standardize and regulate the timing through specialized authorities to ensure the correctness of prayer and fasting.
