Internal Threats and Challenges and Their Impact on Libyan National Security
Main Article Content
Abstract
The fragile situation in Libya after February 17 constituted the most significant challenges facing the officials of the new regime in Libya. The state of security chaos, political division, and the obstruction of national interests in building a state of stability and democracy led to the emergence of a set of threats and challenges to Libyan national security. Among these were illegal immigration and threats to water security, which prevented the achievement of stability in the country. Therefore, we can say that the existence and continuation of these challenges at this stage are a real threat to the stability and security of Libya.
