The effectiveness of a guidance program to develop positive social behavior skills among a sample of new students at the College of Physical Education and Motor Rehabilitation at Al-Jamil

Abstract
The research aims to identify the effectiveness of a guidance program to develop positive social behavior skills among a sample of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Motor Rehabilitation in Al-Jamil. The researcher relied in his methodological procedures on the experimental approach using pre- and post-measurement of two groups, one of which is a control group and the other is an experimental group. He used a study on a sample of new students registered in the fall semester of 2024/2025 AD, consisting of (34) students. Divided into two groups, each group consisting of (17) students. The researcher used tools to collect his data, including the social behavior scale prepared by the researcher, relying on many references in preparing the scale, and among these references, by way of example and not limited to, the scale (Nada Nasr El-Din Abdel Hamid). The researcher formulated a set of guidelines for the research sample to be applied through the guidance program that was built by the researcher. The researcher noticed through his results that there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members between the control and experimental groups on the social behavior scale in terms of (academic skills, relationship with colleagues, implementation of orders) in the post- measurement and in favor of the experimental group.
