Abstract

The study aimed to identify the challenges faced by parents with their children regarding their use of social media, concluding that negative use of social media results in many challenges, especially from children if they are left unsupervised, leading to negative repercussions that are difficult for parents to deal with, especially if they are unaware of how to use these platforms. Social media has become an integral part of our lives, making it difficult for individuals to separate it from their daily and social interactions, However, parents can handle these challenges in a balanced way between digital life and real life, which contributes to reducing these challenges, such as instilling confidence in their children, enhancing dialogue between them, emphasizing cultural heritage, and utilizing these platforms for the benefit of their children. Learning how to communicate on technological sites at this age opens doors for critical thinking and problem solving in a methodical way, and helps them develop skills in organizing ideas and innovation, making them ready for a rapidly changing world that relies heavily on technology, and guiding them to use technology correctly, They can develop new skills that will benefit them in the future, such as programming, which is considered one of the essential skills in our current era. Learning programming enhances critical thinking and creativity and opens doors to various career opportunities, Their children can start learning programming in a fun and effective way.
