Abstract

Alienation is one of the most prominent phenomena reflected in Arabic literary creativity in general, and in Libyan literature in particular. It manifests as an emotional state that dominates the creative self, transforming into a discourse of expressive revelation—whether in poetry or in prose. The text examined in this study provides a clear embodiment of this phenomenon, which, in turn, necessitated its analysis and critical investigation.
