Social Control in the Field of School Social Services

Abstract
The significance of the study lies on identification the roles and methods of the educational institution (school) in the process of social control in general, and the relationship between school social work and social control in particular which based on the research questions. Through the theoretical framework that includes the main research concepts (social work – social work – school social work), as well as the previous studies which have related directly and indirectly to the subject of this research, all these factors have contributed to identify the importance of social control in the educational institutions (schools), in addition, to identify the role of school social work in the process of social control even its role has been implicit or invisible. The study has relied on the descriptive method that considers as the appropriate for the subject of the study because it provides a deep and comprehensive understanding for the concept of social control and it institutions on one hand, and on the other hand, it relationship with school social work. At the end the study has concluded that school social work is one of the formal social control mechanisms.
