Leadership skills of school principals from the perspective of teachers: Al-Minhaj Private School as a case study

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the level of leadership skills among principals of Al-Minhaj School from the perspective of female teachers. The research population consisted of all female teachers at the school during the 2024–2025 academic year. A questionnaire was used to collect data, and a descriptive-analytical approach was employed to arrive at the results. The research sample comprised 45 female teachers, and the researcher reached several conclusions, most notably that the level of leadership skills among Al-Minhaj School principals, from the teachers' perspective, was high. The study also revealed that the four leadership skills (human, administrative, technical, and intellectual) were high among the principals. The results showed statistically significant differences between the first axis (human skills) and each of the following axes: the second (administrative skills), the third (technical skills), and the fourth (intellectual skills). However, the other comparisons did not show statistically significant differences.
