Mechanisms for combating corruption in light of international law and Libyan legislation

Abstract
After corruption crimes transformed from a domestic crime into a cross-border crime, it affected all levels, and imposed an international, international and regional movement embodied through international and regional agreements and designated international organizations, as well as a national movement embodied in countries enacting legislation that criminalizes and punishes corruption, and the establishment of... National oversight bodies specialized in combating corruption.
Accordingly, we divided this research into three main sections: In the first section, we discussed the concept of corruption and an explanation of its types. In the second section, we reviewed the causes of corruption and its effects. We devoted the third section to international and national mechanisms to combat corruption.
Then a conclusion in which we review the most important results and recommendations that we reached from this research.
