The methods used by Orientalists and the position of Muslims towards them
Main Article Content
Abstract
Orientalism is the study of the East in all its historical, cultural, and religious aspects. Orientalists have adopted various methods of Orientalism, and these methods are renewed with the changing times and eras, and are closely linked to one another, as each method is built upon another, like a single package. Among these methods are: University education, the collection of Arabic manuscripts, conferences and seminars, the publication of journals dedicated to their research, Christian proselytizing as a means of Orientalism, book writing, translation, misleading calls made under the banner of Islam, and the media.
