Abstract
This research aimed to identify the difficulties faced by education students in the Western Region in understanding the integral equations course. The researcher used the descriptive method as it was suitable for the nature of this research. The research population consisted of faculty members and students from colleges in the Western Region of Libya, totaling (20) individuals. The research sample was selected randomly, resulting in (15) individuals, representing 75% of the research population. The researcher designed an electronic questionnaire to collect the research data. One of the most important findings was that the difficulties faced by education students in the Western Region in understanding the integral equations course were high, ranked in the following order: (material resources, students, curriculum).
