The Challenges of the Human Mind in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
Main Article Content
Abstract
The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence has raised fundamental philosophical questions about the nature and future of the human mind. As intelligent systems increasingly perform tasks associated with human cognition, debates surrounding consciousness, identity, and the limits of machine intelligence have become central to contemporary philosophy. This study examines the fate of the human mind in the age of artificial intelligence through a critical philosophical approach.
The research distinguishes between human cognition and artificial computation, emphasizing features such as self-awareness, intuition, and emotional understanding, while also addressing ethical concerns related to moral responsibility and the challenges of embedding ethical principles in non-human systems. Furthermore, the study explores the transformation of human identity in an increasingly technologized world.
The paper concludes by presenting philosophical scenarios regarding the future of human cognition, arguing that this future is not technologically predetermined but depends on critical reflection and ethical governance of artificial intelligence.
