Quantitative characteristics of Libyan deaths over the years: - 1997 - 1998 - 1999 AD.

Abstract
This study was concerned with the study of the quantitative characteristics of Libyan mortality during the years 1997 – 1998 – 1999 – through secondary source data, which are vital statistics for these years to achieve the objectives of this study.
The study showed that there were substantial differences and variations in mortality according to the gender variable, as mortality among males was higher than mortality in females.
-There is a variation in mortality by age group, where we find that deaths occur in newborns and children under one year at their highest rate, then mortality decreases to reach its lowest levels in the age groups of {10-19}, and then its rates increase continuously from the age of 50 years until the mortality reaches a higher rate at the ages of 70 years and above
-The study also showed that there is a variation in the mortality rate according to the occupational departments.
-The study showed that there is a variation in mortality according to the marital status of the deceased, as the highest mortality rate was higher among married people than singles, and the mortality rate among widows was higher than the percentage of divorced people.
