Context and the Poem (A Stylistic Approach) in Al-Mutanabbi's Poetry
Main Article Content
Abstract
Many researchers argue that context originally refers to the communicative situation, that is, the environment in which utterance takes place. The communicative situation requires a set of contextual elements, including the two poles of communication—the sender and the receiver—and the discourse, along with a set of conditions that establish the communicative relationship by considering the time, place, beliefs, and intentions contributing to the process of producing and interpreting the discourse.
