The Impact of Confusing Jurisprudential Fatwas on Da'wah Discourse

Abstract

Religious discourse stability is a crucial pillar of security, a tool of religious outreach, and an essential condition for societal success and peaceful cohabitation. The disarray in current jurisprudential fatwas is a troubling subject that requires further investigation and analysis, since it is one of the most important forms of contemporary religious discourse in its numerous manifestationsÆ

This study seeks to identify the idea of chaos in jurisprudential fatwas, comprehend its causes, explain its impact on religious discourse, and provide solutions to eliminate it Æ

In writing this research, I used a descriptive-analytical technique, examining some of the fatwas circulating in religious media and investigating their effects on religious discourse in Muslim culture.

This study concluded that the anarchy of jurisprudential fatwas has contributed to the divergence of modern da'wah discourse and undermined the intellectual stability of the Islamic nation. One of the research's key recommendations is that Islamic governments form a collective authority for fatwas, particularly on national matters that affect the Muslim community.
