Abstract
This research examines the core foundations of social work in Libya from a social work perspective.
Section I: Research Framework
The first section of the study outlines the research problem, significance, objectives, and key questions. It also details the research methodology, defines core concepts and terminology, and reviews the explanatory theories and previous literature relevant to the field.
Section II: Social Work and Development
The second section explores the concept of social work, highlighting its origins, historical development, characteristics, and significance, as well as the fundamental principles upon which it is built. Furthermore, the research addresses the achievement of developmental performance within Libyan society, situating it within the international map of Human Development. It also covers women's affairs and family welfare services.
Conclusion: Finally, the research presents a comprehensive set of results, recommendations, and practical proposals aimed at enhancing social work practices in Libya
