Main Article Content
Abstract
This study examines Quranic ethics not as a mere collection of moral commands or behavioral guidelines, but as an integrated divine framework aimed at shaping the human personality in its spiritual, moral, intellectual, and social dimensions, while regulating daily human conduct. Adopting a purposive and applied approach, the research connects the Quranic text with contemporary human reality, highlighting the comprehensiveness of Quranic ethics and their capacity to address modern moral and social challenges Æ
The central problem of the study revolves around the role of the Holy Quran’s moral system in constructing a balanced human being who achieves personal fulfillment and contributes to social stability. It also explores the essential relationship between Quranic ethics and the objectives of Islamic law (maqāṣid al-sharīʿa), demonstrating how both systems function in a complementary and integrative manner Æ
The research aims to establish the concept of ethics within the Quranic framework and to highlight its distinctive characteristics, such as comprehensiveness, moderation, effectiveness, and positive influence. Furthermore, it investigates the integrative relationship between Quranic ethics and the purposes of Sharia, and examines the impact of this relationship on guiding individual behavior and shaping social values. The study also diagnoses contemporary moral challenges, including excessive materialism and individualism, and proposes a practical Quranic vision to address them, with the goal of fostering a society grounded in justice, compassion, and cooperationÆ
