Reflections on Surah At-Tawbah According to Thematic Interpretation

Abstract

This study examines the thematic interpretation of Surat At-Tawbah by identifying its main themes and overall objectives. The surah addresses the declaration of disassociation from polytheists, outlines the rulings and purposes of jihad, exposes the characteristics of hypocrites , and highlights the qualities of true believers . The study concludes that surat Al-Tawbah presents a Qur`anic framework for ideological distinction, moral accountability , and the establishement of a sincere and responsible Muslim community.
