The Impact of Skillful Leadership on Avoiding Strategic Risks (A Field Study at Al-Asimah Private University for the Year 2026)

Abstract
This research aims to highlight the impact of effective leadership in avoiding strategic risks. The research addresses effective leadership skills as an independent variable and strategic risks as a dependent variable. A sample of leaders working at the Capital Private University in Tripoli, Libya, was selected. The research relied on the opinions of (21) members. The problem was diagnosed through field studies conducted by the researcher in the organization under study. The researcher suggested that the dimensions of effective leadership skills contribute to addressing the gaps included in weak strategies. The research sought to achieve a set of objectives, the most important of which are: describing the dimensions of the research variables and testing the relationship of correlation and influence between the research variables in the organization under study. This study clarifies the role of effective leadership in strategically avoiding potential strategic risks. The research hypothesis was that effective leadership has a statistically significant effect on avoiding strategic risks. The researcher adopted a descriptive-analytical approach to describe the changes in the research data collected. The collected data and information were subjected to the SPSS statistical analysis program, and statistical tests were conducted to analyze the study results and test the hypothesis. The most important result was the existence of a statistically significant relationship between the application of effective leadership skills and the avoidance of strategic risks. The study recommends conducting future studies related to the research topic, such as the impact of effective leadership on organizational agility.
