The Importance of Video Journalism in Enhancing Ethical Values among Media Students at the University of Derna

Abstract
The study aimed to explore the role of video journalism in enhancing ethical values and social behavior among media students, as well as to identify the challenges associated with its use, through a questionnaire administered to 108 students. The results showed that students use video journalism regularly or occasionally, with a clear interest in value-oriented videos, and that it affects their behavior and adherence to ethical values. The study also confirmed students’ ability to distinguish between ethical and non-ethical content, while enhancing their awareness of values and practical behavior, demonstrating the effectiveness of video journalism as an educational and ethical tool.
