School administration in secondary schools and its role in strengthening relations with the local community in the municipality of Derj

Abstract
This study aims to identify the role of school administration in secondary schools in enhancing the relationship with the local community in the Municipality of Derj. It also reviewed a number of previous studies related to the present study. The study employed the descriptive-analytical approach, and a questionnaire was used as a tool for data collection. A statistical analysis program was utilized to analyze the data, using means and standard deviations. The most important findings of the study were as follows:
-School administrations in the schools of the Municipality of Derj rely heavily on developing clear, declared vision and mission statements.
-There is limited attention among school administrations in the Municipality of Derj to adopting leadership styles and administrative practices.
-The overall level of community participation and joint programs is low.
-There were no statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level for the study dimensions attributable to the variables (gender, educational qualification, years of experience).
-There were statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level attributable to the job position variable with regard to community participation and joint programs.
