The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Social Structure of Jobs A Study of the Social and Ethical Challenges of Emerging and Threatened Professions
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research examines the impact of artificial intelligence on reshaping the social structure of occupations, considering it a structural factor actively influencing contemporary professional transformations. It highlights how artificial intelligence has contributed to the emergence of new professions while simultaneously threatening traditional occupations with decline or disappearance. The study also discusses the social implications of these transformations, particularly the redistribution of professional roles, changes in social status, and the widening gap between occupational groups. In addition, it addresses the ethical challenges associated with the use of intelligent systems in work environments, such as justice, privacy, and responsibility for automated decision-making. The research adopts sociological approaches that integrate social and ethical analysis of work. It concludes that artificial intelligence represents an opportunity for professional renewal as much as it constitutes a social challenge, and recommends adopting educational and ethical policies that ensure fair social adaptation to technological transformations.
