Marriage between social values and Economic Reality in Libyan Society

Abstract

This reseearch focuses on Studying the relationship Between social values and economic reality and their impact on marriage in Libyan society . It analyzes family values ,economic conditions,patterns of marriage and the effect of economic pressures on marriage requirements.The findings indicate that family values continue to have a strong influence on marriage;however, economic pressures have led to modifications in certain practices,reflecting abalance between adherence to values and adaptation to econmic reality. Accordingly,marriage in libyan society represent a state of interaction between social values that preserve its traditional form and economic conditions that impose real and pressing challenges on its practice. This situation necessitates reconsidering some customs associated with the costs of marriage and adopting supportive social and economic policies for young people, thereby achieving a balance between social values and economic stability.
