Abstract
This study aimed to identify the most significant obstacles facing the social worker in the school field at secondary schools in the city of Zawiya. The study sample consisted of (50) social workers. The descriptive–analytical approach was adopted, and a questionnaire was used as the main tool for data collection.
The study reached the following results:
-The most important social obstacles facing school social workers at secondary schools in the city of Zawiya were found to be at a moderate level.
-The most important administrative obstacles facing school social workers at secondary schools in the city of Zawiya were at a moderate level.
-The most important organizational obstacles facing school social workers at secondary schools in the city of Zawiya were also at a moderate level.
-There were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in the social, administrative, and organizational obstacles facing school social workers at secondary schools in the city of Zawiya, attributable to the variables of gender and years of experience.
