The Role of Economic Diplomacy in Strengthening International Economic Relations

Abstract

International relations in general, and economic relations in particular, are governed by interests that play an important and strategic role. This is the natural course of events, as every country in the international community seeks to establish relationships that will bring it the greatest benefit.

This is where diplomacy comes in as the main tool and fundamental pillar for coordinating these relations, and the basis from which countries develop their strategies in the context of international economic relations, in terms of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation ties, resolving conflicts by peaceful means, and reconciling conflicting interests through diplomatic tools that play a prominent role in promoting world peace. In this context, the important role played by alliances in this regard is well known.
