Geographical Analysis of Banking Services in the Municipality of Gharyan for the Year 2025

Abstract

Banking services have become an indispensable component of modern life, serving as a key indicator of societal development. This study provides a geographical analysis of banking services within the municipality of Gharyan. The primary objectives are to assess the local development of banking services, classify their types, and examine their spatial distribution. An analytical approach was employed, incorporating statistical techniques and structured interviews with relevant officials. The findings reveal that the total number of employees in the municipality’s banks is 263, with an average of 24 employees per branch.
